Two photos of Wilson in the Engineering Design Center: using equipment and riding a unicycle.

The College of Engineering Instagram account features students’ stories. A recent post highlights Tyler Wilson’s work on his capstone project at the Engineering Design Center and his personal interest in taking on building projects like this unicycle.

Tyler Wilson is the procurement lead for capstone Team 25048. He and his teammates are creating a golf-putting robot for sponsor Raytheon, an RTX Business. Their invention will beat humans at golf and inspire the next generation of STEM professionals.

However, there’s more to the electrical and computer engineering major from Redding, California. Like other students in the University of Arizona College of Engineering – as well as faculty and alumni – Wilson is full of surprises. Get the scoop on the achievements, plans, adventures and inventions of the people of Engineering on the college’s social media accounts.
